I now live in az. but I am from calif. and have raced many times at this track over the years. This is a great facility and its a shame this is happening. does anyone wonder where these kids will burn their energy if we keep taking away places such as these. My son is 12 and I am 37 yrs old, both still riding and never have had a run in with the law or been in any trouble. thank you bmx!!

I have not had the chance to race at your facility yet. But I am sure that it is a great program cause any city that has a BMX track has many kids and kids at heart that call it home. I hope that you get to keep your facility because if would be a shame to see a track that has been around for 25 plus years and has been an icon in the BMX world be take away

Sorry to hear this... one of the most important tracks in the country due to its long history. 25 years! Don't close it. Keep a good thing going.

I think it is a tragedy that the city keeps taking away and shutting down the areas our kids play in. I guess the city feels the kids are better off joining gangs and writing graffiti all of the walls in our area.

I have never been there but I know what people are going threw. My local BMX track is having its last race this weekend nov.18/07. The township is taking back the property to build a fire school. Our track has been in operation for over 27 years. I race at Bensalem BMX in PA. I grew up around that track. It is a shame when government officials would rather make a buck than provide good clean programs like bmx.

I live in the area adjacent to the course and ove to see the green lawn every day, I beleive it would be an eyesore to the landscape and it will breing much more traffic congestion to a street(Madera/Olsen) that is already overcrowded and congested with local residents and baseball games on the weekends (Simi baseball is right next door!)
